Carlotta Harrell is serving her first term as the current County Commission Chair in Henry County, elected in 2020.

Carlotta is the managing partner of The Harrell Group, a multi-functional Women Owed Small Business consulting firm. She previously provided consulting services as a Project Manager for the Georgia Conference of African American Mayors and the ICI Group and Associates. Before entering the consulting field, she was a Lieutenant Watch Commander in Georgia Law Enforcement for 20 years. She was the Chief Of Staff for the Henry County Board of Commissioners from 2012 until 2020.

Carlotta has degrees in public administration and criminal justice from Brenau University in Gainesville. She has served on the Henry County Water Authority Board of Directors.
