Don graduated from Northwest Georgia High School. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science and public administration from the University of Georgia and a diploma from Louisiana State University's graduate school of banking and finance. Don is a Christian and serves as a Deacon at Silverdale Baptist Church. He served in several organizations, such as former Secretary-Treasurer with the Trenton-Dade Optimist Club,  former President of the Dade County Kiwanis Club, Trenton-Dade County Lions Club, former director and member of the Dade County Chamber of Commerce, and as a former member of the Dade County Historical Society.

Don is currently the County Clerk & Chief Financial Officer. He previously served as the Chief Operations Officer & Chief Security with the Bank of Dade.

Robert A Ryan III graduated from Northwest Georgia High School in 1992. He attended the Southern Polytechnical College in Marietta from 1992 until 1995. 
He has two children with his wife Kasandra and one grandaughter. He currently resides in the Slygo community of Dade County. He is also a member at the Trenton Methodist Church.

Robert A Ryan III spent many years traveling the Southeast to pharmaceutical, chemical, and industrial plants, helping with their processes. His involvement with the county began with the Special Use Permit Board for the unincorporated part of the county. During his second appointment to the board, he was voted to serve as Chairman.
