Greg is a graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is married with one daughter. 

Greg is currently employed by Club Demonstration Services Inc. and is a former small business owner.

Greg Bentley has served on the inaugural Board of Commissioners as the District 1 commissioner. He previously served as a Fort Oglethorpe City Council member.
