Carolyn Hugley has served on the Georgia House of Representatives District 141 since 2023. She was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 1992.

Carolyn works as an insurance agent for State Farm. She also worked as a senior analyst with the Mississippi State Legislature's Joint Committee on Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review and as the director of planning and economic development with the Lee County Council of Governments.

Carolyn was born in Forrest City, Arkansas, and lives in Columbus. She graduated from Forrest City High School, then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a Master's of Public Administration degree from Mississippi State University. She is married, and has two children, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
