Reginald Thompson is the Municipal Court Clerk in Columbus, Georgia. He was elected to this position in 2021. He has worked with the Columbus government since 2011.

Reginald works in management with the Columbus Consolidated Government, where he has been for 10 years. He also has experience working in management for 20 years, separate from his position with the Columbus Government, and as an ordained minister.

Reginald Thompson is from Dothan, Alabama and graduated from Northview High School. He attended Alabama A&M University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Troy University. He is married to his wife, Valerie, with whom they four children and seven grandchildren. He has been involved in several projects with his church and has held several leadership positions with the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
