W.C. "Bill" Massee is currently serving as the Baldwin County Sheriff. He was first elected in 1988 and is serving his 9th term.

Previously, Bill was the chief of the Milledgeville Police Department and worked for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Bill is from Milledgeville and attended Baldwin County High School. He graduated from the National FBI Academy, has an associate's degree from Georgia Military College, and a bachelors degree in business administration from Georgia College and State University. He is a member of Peace Officers Standards and Training Council and an active executive board member of the Georgia Sheriff's Association.
