Darriel attended Toombs High School and received an Associate of Arts degree from Brewton Parker College. Darriel is a husband, father, and grandfather. He attends Oak Baptist Church, and has also been involved in the Lyons Jaycees, the Lyons Toombs Chamber of Commerce, and Lyons Masonic Lodge #49.

Darriel was the owner of Nobles Furniture and Flooring Company and a mail carrier. He retired in 2007.

Darriel Nobles is currently Toombs County Commissioner for District 3.
