Taylor moved to Doraville in 2020. He has a bachelor's degree in physics from Georgia College and State University and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He volunteers with the Atlanta Humane Society, Southern Cross Shephard Rescue, and Pawprint Pack. He lives with his wife and 2 rescue dogs.
