Analise Ortiz is a native Arizonan who resides in Maryvale and grew up in a family of six children. She graduated summa cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. Information about the church she attends or details about her having a family of her own is not provided.

Analise Ortiz is an Arizona native who graduated summa cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU and worked as an investigative reporter. She later joined the ACLU and the ACLU of Arizona, focusing on criminal justice reform and federal immigration reform. Ortiz currently serves as the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, sits on the House Commerce Committee, and was appointed to the Independent Prison Oversight Commission by Gov. Katie Hobbs.
