Tyler Andrew Kamp is a fifth-generation resident of Maricopa County. He received a bachelors degree in administration of justice from Arizona State University. Tyler and his wife Alanna have four children.

Professional background

Tyler is campaigning full time, but previously worked as an executive protection director for Thrive Services Group and as a director, investigations and law enforcement developer at International Justice Mission. He also had a 21 year career in law enforcement, working as a police lieutenant and shift commander for the City of Phoenix, working his way up from a patrol officer.

Political background

Tyler Andrew Kamp's campaign for Maricopa County Sheriff is his first entrance into politics.

Public Safety

Plans to use crime analytics to target fentanyl dealers, gun traffickers, and other crimes, and to institute a task force reporting directly to the Sheriff.
