Mike Pineda

Mike Pineda is a long-time resident of Avondale since 2001, where he lives with his wife Olivia and their four children. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching sports with his family and playing golf at various courses in the West Valley. Information about the church he attends is not provided.

Mike Pineda serves as the Business Program Director at Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) and is a residential faculty member. He has experience as a Small Business Analyst with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), where he held certifications in Profit Mastery and Growth Wheel. Previously, he was an instructor in the Small Business Start-Up program at Rio Salado Community College. From 2008 to 2012, he co-owned a real estate company specializing in REO properties.

Mike Pineda began his tenure on the Avondale City Council in 2016 and was re-elected for a second term starting in 2021. He was elected to a two-year term as Vice Mayor in January 2023.
