Robert A Branch serves as the Commissioner Emeritus of the Maricopa County Regional Park System. In 2018, he ran for Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State of Arizona but did not win.

Robert is a veteran who has worked in cryptography for the United States Air Force and in the semiconductor industry, rising to corporate ownership with his own database development firm. He has held academic positions such as Dean of Education, Dean of Technology, Campus Director, Chairman of the School of Business and Technology Management, and Lead Faculty Content Chairman for the Doctoral of Management in Information System Technology Program.

Robert has received bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees from Eastern Washington University, Western International University, and Capella University respectively.
