BG was raised in the South Plains area of Texas and graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Baylor University. She has been a full-time resident of Wickenburg since 2011 and volunteered for numerous organizations, including First Southern Baptist Church of Wickenburg and Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce. 

BG worked for 13 years with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, handling various aspects of planning and coordinating crusades in the US and internationally. Additionally, she has been a realtor in Wickenburg and the surrounding area since 2004 and served as the executive director of a non-profit organization.

Bobbie "BG" Bratcher is currently a Wickenburg Town Council member. She was elected in 2020 and is serving her first term.
