Ashley moved to Grandview when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Grandview High School. Ashley graduated with a bachelor of arts in global studies from the University of Washington.

Ashley is a government relations specialist for Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic. Previously, she worked at UW Medicine, King County, WA, and the U.S. House of Representatives.
