Ann has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Haymarket.

Ann used to be a consultant in the energy industry.

Ann Wheeler is currently a county supervisor on the Prince William County Board of Supervisors. She was first elected in 2019 and has been in office for one term. She is currently the Chair At Large of the board.
