Josh is from Fairfax Station. He attended Lake Braddock Secondary School. He has a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a law degree from University of Virginia.  He lives with his wife and children.

Josh is a lawyer. He used to be deputy commonwealth’s attorney for Arlington County. He used to be a prosecutor in the General District Court, the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, and the Circuit Court.

Josh Katcher’s campaign for commonwealth's attorney is his first entry into politics.
