ARL Now: A second Democratic hopeful launches bid for District 2 House of Delegates

Kevin is from Arlington, Virginia. He attended Charles Herbert Flowers High School. He has a bachelor's degree in government and history from the University of Virginia. If elected, he would be Virginia's first LGBTQ+ legislator of color.

Kevin is a project analyst at Hive International, LLC. He used to be a chief of staff and a legislative assistant in Virginia House of Delegates. Kevin also used to be a field organizer for the Democratic Party of Virginia, associate director of scheduling and advance for the mayor, and a scheduler & executive assistant in the U.S. Congress.

Adele is from northern Virginia. She has a bachelor's degree in economics from Virginia Commonwealth University. She currently lives in Arlington. If elected, she would be the first Black delegate and the first Asian delegate to represent Arlington County.

Adele is the executive director of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus. She used to be the special projects manager for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and the policy director for the office of the former Virginia Lieutenant Governor. She also worked for Deloitte Consulting and for the International Monetary Fund.
