Geary Higgins was elected to represent Catoctin District on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors in 2011, and 2015 to 2019. He was the Chair of the Transportation and Land Use Committee; and the previous co-chair and a member of the Joint Board of Supervisors/School Board Committee. He was the Catoctin Representative on the Loudoun County School Board from 2000 to 2004.

Geary Higgins is the former Vice President of Labor Relations for the National Electrical Contractors Association, whom he worked with from 1987 to 2021.

Geary Higgins is originally from Baltimore, MD. He graduated from Winston Churchill High School. He attended Clarion University, where he received a degree in Business Administration, with a double major in management and marketing. He lives in Waterford with his wife and three daughters.
