Yesli Vega is currently the county supervisor representing the Coles District. She was first elected in 2019 and has been in office for one term. She previously ran for U.S. House to represent Virginia's District 7, but did not win.

Yesli used to be a patrol officer at the Alexandria Police Department and the Manassas Park Police Department. She also used to be a field training officer, a certified hostage negotiator, and a member of the crisis intervention team.

Yesli is originally from Texas. She has lived in Northern Virginia since she was five years old. She has a bachelor's degree from American Military University and graduated from the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. She and her family lived in South Korea for two years while her husband, Rene, was deployed there. They have two children.
