Koran T. Saines is currently the county supervisor representing the Sterling District. He was first elected in 2015 and has been in office for two terms. He has been the vice chair of the board of supervisors since 2020.

Koran is a senior recruiter at the Washington Post. He used to work as a recruiter and acquisitions specialist at Inova Health System, WGL Holdings, Network Runners, Inc., Aramark, and Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks.

Koran is originally from Sterling. He attended Broad Run High School. He has a bachelor's degree in human resource management from the Indiana Institute of Technology. He lives with his wife, Audrey, in Sterling. He has two sons.
