Adele is originally from Northern Virginia. She has a bachelor's degree in sociology and fine arts from St. Joseph’s University and a master's degree in special education from George Mason University. She lives with her husband, Tom, and their two sons.

Adele was a special education teacher. She used to work for Prince William County Public Schools and Fairfax County.

Adele E. Jackson is currently the school board member representing the Brentsville District. She was first elected in 2019 and has been in office for one term.
