Chris Harnisch’s campaign for state delegate is his first entry into politics.

Chris used to be a business manager and an advisor on technology innovation and adoption at Apple. He also used to be a counterterrorism official for the State Department. He served in the U.S. Army as a drilling army reserve officer.

Chris is originally from northern Virginia. He attended Fairfax county public schools. He has a bachelor's degree, a master's degree in public policy, and a master's degree in business administration from Yale. He lives in Sterling with his wife and son.
