Adele is originally from Northern Virginia. She has a bachelor's degree in economics from Virginia Commonwealth University. She currently lives in Arlington. If elected, she would be the first Black delegate and the first Asian delegate to represent Arlington County.

Professional background

Adele is the executive director of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus. She used to be the special projects manager for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and the policy director for the office of the former Virginia Lieutenant Governor. She also worked for Deloitte Consulting and for the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
