Matt W. Donaldson is currently the Mayor of Twin City, Georgia. He was first elected in 2019 and has been in office for one term. Before that, he was a City Commissioner of Twin City, Georgia. He was first elected in 2015 and was in office for one term.

Matt is the chief financial officer, vice president, and a loan officer at Durden Banking Company.

Matt was born and raised in Twin City. He has an associate's degree in business administration from East Georgia State College, a bachelor's degree in finance from Georgia Southern University, and a master's degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He also graduated from the Georgia Banking School at the University of Georgia, Leadership Emanuel, and the Georgia Academy for Economic Development.
