Jazzmin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Albany State University. She earned a Master of Public Administration degree in government and nonprofit management from DeVry University. 

Jazzmin is a member of the Albany State University National Alumni Association, ASU DeKalb Alumni Chapter, DeKalb Chapter of the NAACP as well a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She serves as President of the National Conference of State Fleet Administrators.

She and her husband have one son. The Cobbles have been residents of the Stonecrest/Lithonia area for the more than 12 years.

Jazzmin worked in state government for over 12 years for the Departments of Human Resources, Community Health, Public Health and Audits and Accounts. Currently, she serves as the Director of Fleet Management.

Jazzmin Cobble has served as mayor since 2022, and is currently finishing her first term. Previously, she served as a city council member for the city of Stonecrest.
