Rochelle Robinson is from Youngstown, Ohio. She attended Youngstown State University.  She is now an ordained minister, serving alongside her husband, as co-pastor for Total Renewal Church of God in Rex, GA.

Rochelle previously served in the Ohio National Guard from 1981-1987, worked for the Central Intelligence Agency from 1987-1995 and worked at Clayton County Mental Health, following her move to Georgia.

Rochelle Robinson is currently the Mayor of Douglasville. She was elected in 2015 and has served two full terms. She currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Atlanta Regional Commission. She previously served on the Douglasville City Council from 2002 - 2007.
