Mark Phillip Ayers grew up in Newnan and lives with his wife Lauren.

Mark  is the operator of The Great Southern Pub located in the old train depot in downtown Hogansville. In 2018, Mark was also the Boys and Girls Club director in Hogansville.

Mark Phillips Ayers is the current City Council Post Four Representative. He was elected in 2019 and has served one term.

As of 2019, Mark Phillip Ayers grew up in Newnan but has lived in The Village for the last 3 years, including the previous year with his wife Lauren. Mark was brought to town by Pioneer, an afterschool program that has resulted in more than 100 young people moving to Hogansville. In 2018, Mark was also the Boys and Girls Club director in Hogansville.

Mark Phillips Ayers is the current City Council Post Four Representative. He was elected to this post in 2019.
