Jeremiah first moved to Guyton in 2017 with his wife and children. He spends his free time coaching youth basketball for the county recreational department and for the Effingham Bulldogs Basketball program.

Jeremiah is a full-time firefighter in Savannah. He works part-time as an online instructor of political science for the University of Arizona. He is also a U.S. Army veteran.
