Ken Allen was born in Ft. Benning, Georgia and grew up in Lexington, Kentucky. He has lived in College Park for 30 years. He has a bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech. Ken is married with 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Ken worked at Delta Airlines for 25 years as System Manager of Employment. He worked at Airport Customer Service as a Manager 10 years, and at Airport Service International Group for 10 years in the Department of Finance, Budgeting and Forecasting.

Ken Allen served the city of College Park for 25 years in several capacities.  He is a former Councilman, has served on the Board of Zoning Appeals, and been a Board Director for the College Park Housing Authority, as well as, the District Marketing Organization.
