Austin McDonald’s campaign for state senator is his first entry into politics.

Austin is a stay-at-home dad and a real estate agent. He works at Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Perimeter. He used to teach P.E. for nearly ten years in private and public schools.

Austin is originally from Fitzgerald, Georgia. He has a bachelor's degree in education from Valdosta State University. He lives in Dunwoody with his wife, Christine, and their three children. They attend Dunwoody United Methodist Church.
