Stacey is originally from Ringgold, Georgia. She has a bachelor's degree and a law degree from the University of Georgia. She lives with her husband, Andrew, and their two children in the Morningside neighborhood.

Stacey is a lawyer. She represented whistleblowers exposing fraud in the healthcare system and victims of domestic violence in restraining order cases.
