Josh is currently the representative for district 73. He was first elected in 2016 and has been in office for three terms. He is vice chair of the defense and veterans affairs committee and vice chair of the creative arts & entertainment committee.

Josh owns Southeast Properties, Inc., a commercial asset management and brokerage firm. He previously served in the U.S. Army. He is in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Josh has a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia. He lives in Peachtree City with his wife. They have four children. They attend New Hope Baptist Church.
