Mark Pettitt is currently serving as the Hall County Board of Education Member for District 2. He was elected in 2018. Mark previously ran for Hall County Board of Education Member for District 2 in 2014 and lost.

Mark works for the University of North Georgia in the Office of Government Relations and Economic Development. Prior to that, he worked in Business Development and was a supervisor for UPS for several years.

Mark is from Gainesville, Georgia, and attended the University of North Georgia where he earned a bachelor's degree. He currently lives in Chestnut Mountain, Georgia.
