Personal background

Nathan has a bachelor's degree in political science from Grinnell College and a master's degree in public administration from American University. He lives with his wife and daughter in District 1 in Ormewood Park. For the last three years, he served as president of South Atlantans for Neighborhood Development (SAND), pushing for public transport improvements, increased affordable housing, safer streets, more green space and wider public engagement.
