Jeff DeJarnett's campaign for the board of education is his first entry into politics.

Jeff is a licensed real estate broker. He is Managing Broker at Harry Norman, Realtors, where he has worked for more than 14 years. He previously taught instrumental music in Cobb and Marietta City Schools, organized musical events in Paris for local churches and was an event planner in Paris for Stan Smith Events.

Jeff was born and raised in Marietta. He attended Marietta High School and has a bachelor's degree in music education at Ashbury University. He and his wife, Kibbie, have four children and six grandchildren. They live close to Marietta Square and attend Stonebridge Church.
