City of Duluth

Ray has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Southern Polytechnical State College. He is chair of the City of Duluth Planning and Zoning Board and a member of the Veterans Marker committee. He and his wife have lived in Duluth for 22 years.

Ray works as the Division Director for Facilities Engineering and Construction for the Gwinnett County's Department of Water Resources. He was a consulting engineer for 26 years and spent six years in the U.S. Army as a geodetic surveyor.
