Alex Wan
Alex Wan is running for Atlanta City Council Member, District 6.
Political background
Alex Wan was chair of the Fulton County elections board for five months in 2021 before resigning to run for District 6's City Council seat. He ran in the Democratic Primary for House District 57 but was defeated. He was District 6's City Council member from 2010 to 2017. He was the first Asian American and the first openly gay man to serve on Atlanta's city council. He resigned in 2017 to run for City Council President but was defeated in a runoff.
