Jody Gonzalez lives in Aubrey, Texas. He is married.

Jody currently serves as the county administrator for Denton County, Texas, and previously served as chief and director of the Denton County Department of Development and Emergency Services, where he worked for more than two decades in roles related to emergency management, fire marshal duties, environmental crimes, and code enforcement. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University.

Jody is currently a member of the Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees.
