Leigh Ann is the Hood County Treasurer. She works at the Hood County Treasurer’s Office, where she has been since January 2019. In her role, she manages the county’s banking activities by receiving and disbursing funds for county expenses, jury duty, election workers and payroll. She serves as the county’s investment officer, working with the Investment Committee and banking community to secure the highest and safest returns on public funds. She negotiates and oversees all banking service contracts, ensures proper collateral for county investments, handles required federal and state financial reports and payments, administers unclaimed property, and acts as custodian of sheriff’s bail bond collateral.
