A Texas A&M University-Commerce alum was recently honored by the Texas Bar Foundation after being named a Foundation Fellow. Carey F. Walker, who currently serves as the Judge of Tarrant County Criminal Court 2, graduated from East Texas State University (now A&M-Commerce) in 1978 with a B.B.A in Human Resources Management. He later earned a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University in 1984. Walker ran his own law practice from 1996 until his election to his current position in 2014.
