Judge Green is a faithful member of Concord Church where she serves in leadership in the Deaconess Ministry. She serves as a board member for the Child and Family Guidance Center. She is also a member of the Omicron Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Christians in Public Service, the Junior League of Dallas, and the Southwest Suburban Dallas Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

The Green Y.A.R.D. Program was created by Judge Green. As she was seeing increasing numbers of young adults entering into the criminal justice system, she began developing a more comprehensive approach to working with these individuals to redirect them towards a positive and productive direction.
