The proposed resolution states that the county recognizes the value of human life from conception to natural death and encourages the protection of life at all stages. It also expresses support for local pregnancy resource centers and other organizations that assist women facing unplanned pregnancies. Commissioner Eddie Harris brought the resolution to the board, stating that it is important for the county to take a stand on the issue of life. He emphasized the need for community support for families and individuals facing difficult circumstances."
