I have been on council for six years and was instrumental in bringing the city’s budget from a negative cash position to a healthy savings reserve of over three month’s operating cost – approximately $625,000. Along with that, we have gotten numerous road projects completed and will continue to move forward efficiently in completing all streets in Park Hills.

A few years ago, we were able to pay the debt incurred in 2010 for our new fire truck off early. This was accomplished with careful fiscal management. I asked for the ordinance to reduce the road tax from the 2.35/1000 to the current 1.55/1000. This is adequate to keep the road projects going.
