Judge Leonard obtained his B. A. in Political Science from the University of Kentucky in 1997 and his J. D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2000. He has served the citizens of Cobb County since his appointment to the bench in December of 2010.

Robert D. Leonard II is originally from Lexington, Kentucky. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science and his law degree from the University of Kentucky. He lives with his wife, and their three children in Marietta, Georgia. 

Robert is a judge for the Cobb Judicial Circuit. He has served on the bench since December 2010. Before taking the bench, he maintained his own law practice in Marietta, which he founded in 2000. He previously practiced primarily in criminal law and civil litigation. 

Robert previously owned Leonard, Rickman and Holloway, P.C. 

Robert is currently a judge on the Superior Court of Cobb County. He was appointed to the bench in December 2010 and has been re-elected four times. He previously served on the Cobb County State Court.

Robert currently serves as a superior court judge in the Cobb Judicial Circuit in Georgia. He was appointed in 2012 and is serving his third full term. He previously served as a judge with the State Court of Cobb County Georgia. He served a partial term from 2011 to 2012.
