Aizaz Shahbaz Shaikh is from Gwinnett County, Georgia. Heearned a technical degree in air transportation from the Community College of the Air Force, a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from Georgia Gwinnett College, and a master's degree in air and space operations technology. Aizaz lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Aizaz is the president and founder of Angels of Honor, Inc, a non-profit. He currently serves as an alumni advisory council member for the Georgia Gwinnett College's School of Business, a substitute teacher for the Gwinnett County Public Schools, in real estate for Virtual Properties Realty, a mortgage loan officer for Goldstar Mortgage, and in the Civil Air Patrol, serving as a deputy commander. Aizaz worked as a branch manager for Loaning Hub Inc, a real estate agent for Sanmo Realty, an academic coach for Peak Academic Coaching, and a floor manager for The Colonnade Group. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for four years as an airman.

Aizaz's campaign for the District 7 representative of the Georgia State Senate is his first run for public office.
