Josh Bonner has a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Michelle, have four children and are active members of New Hope Baptist Church.

Josh is the owner of Southeast Properties, Inc., a commercial asset management and brokerage firm. He previously served as a military intelligence officer in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserves. 

Josh is currently a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. He was first elected in 2016.
