Cambrey is a retired U.S. Army engineer. She served as an engineer officer for over nine years, including a deployment in Iraq. After her military service, she transitioned to civil service with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a contract administrator and construction project manager. In 2020, she moved to Columbia County to continue her project management work at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. She closed out her 25+ years of service as the strategic planner for the transformation cell of the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence. Cambrey retired in September 2025.
