Daniel McCormick is from Winder, Georgia. He earned his associate's degree in accounting and finance from Lanier Technical College, studied accounting and finance at Kennesaw State University, and studied education at Valdosta State University. 

Daniel's campaign for Barrow County Commission, District 6, is his first run for public office.

He has previously worked as a sales broker, a sales representative at Integrity Recycling and Waste Solutions, and account executive at Republic Services, and account manager at GFL Environmental Inc., and associate at Safelite AutoGlass, and a manager at Fuji Hana.
