Melinda Zimmerman is from Valdese, North Carolina. She attended Valdese Elementary and Junior High Schools and graduated from East Burke High School. She has a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives with her husband, Barry, and their two sons in Valdese. She attends First United Methodist Church in Valdese.
