Brittany is currently the mayor of Granite Quarry. She was first elected in 2021 and is serving her first term. She was appointed to the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees by the North Carolina Senate and will serve a four-year term through June 30, 2029.

As mayor, supported annexing over 50 acres to promote new residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
